Since the age of 11, Scott was lucky to find his purpose, and has dedicated his life to drumming and music production through and through.   Scott started studying marching drums in 1993, which developed both his drumming skills and his passion for music. Discovering a drum kit in a house clearance with his father, Scott also discovered a love for the drums which continues to this day.

Scott first took his drumming skills to the professional table in 1999, tutoring lots of drummers the benefits of rudimental application on the drum kit.   A relocation to Bristol in 2002 introduced Scott to the vibrant music scenes of Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Ska and, of course, Rock music, to which he toured and recorded original music across England for several years.

Scott returned to Scotland to record and produce an album of traditional Scottish music with his father.  During this time, Scott tutored drums to hundreds of students in the area. Crafting his skills with several bands, performing across the country with top ceilidh collective – The Jiggers Ceilidh Band. Scott also went on to tour internationally with one of the worlds top Abba tribute shows, from 2010 – 2014.

Scott established himself firmly in the Scottish music scene, obtaining a music degree and building his reputation as both an explosive performer and a solid studio drummer. He performed on the Coaltown Daisies debut album: ‘This Old House’ in 2015 and their second album ‘Listen’ in 2019.

Meeting singer, songwriter and love of his life, Rebecca Connelly in 2014, The couple formed a music duo specifically aimed to entertain at national resorts. Married in 2017, Scott and Rebecca have since established an award-winning music tuition studio in Angus and continue to perform across Scotland. Scott recorded drums for Rebecca’s latest album ‘California’, released in 2019.

Scott now performs with The Science Fiction Rock Experience, an eight-piece ensemble of world-class musicians. Having recently debuted its incredible show ‘When Worlds Collide’ in theatres, the band looks toward the world stage in the near future.
